REGISTERING IN THE PARISH - Every year we ask that all parishioners register in the Parish, even if you have registered in prior years.   If you werent able to register at Mass,  please come in and register in the office it takes just a few minutes!!
 
NDSU NEWMAN CENTER ENDOWMENT FUND: we have established an endowment fund for St. Paul's Newman Center to help meet our operational expenses ($225k /yr).  An endowment fund is an account where the principal may not be withdrawn.  The current total is $27,152.49  Thanks for your generosity and to learn more about the Endowment Fund click on the button above.  Click on the button (top left)
 
PARKING AT THE NEWMAN CENTER: Our parking policy will be put into effect September 20th.  Permit parking only from Midnight to 5 pm weekdays.  There will be free parking for Newman associates from 5 pm to mindnight weekdays and Saturday and Sunday.  Permits are available in the office.  The cost is $50 and only students registered at the Newman Center can apply.  We'll sell 70 permits for 35 parking spots with the understanding it's first come, first served among permit holders.

GOT QUESTIONS ABOUT BEING CATHOLIC?: Attend our Catholic Inquiry classes beginning February 15th at 8 pm in the student lounge.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS: Is traveling to St. Gianna's Maternity Home on Saturday, March 3rd.  We will leave the Newman Center at 6:30 am and get back to Fargo around 4 pm.  If interested in attending this trip, contact Stacie Keller by email: Stacie.keller@my.ndsu.edu Our Court is asking for donations to bring to the Home.  Please take a bag in the entryway (bring back before March 3rd) and fill with some of the following needed items: postage stamps, personal gift cards for mothers, paper products, and cleaning supplies.  Thank you in adavance for your generosity.

OPERATION ANDREW:  is a program for priests in the Diocese of Fargo to invite young men to consider the Priesthood.  The Operation Andrew dinner will be held at Bishop Aquila's residence on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6:30-8:30 pm.   Registrations need to be received at the Vocations Office at least 3 days prior to the date of the dinner.  These dinners are designed to help young men understand the vocation of priesthood and its contribution to the Church and the People of God.  It is also an opportunity to help a young man as he discerns God's call in his life.  If you are considering the Priesthood please contact Father Cheney as soon as possible.

MASS INTENTIONS:
If you would like a Mass said for someone please see Jean Henning in the office or enclose $10 in the Collection basket with your name, the date you'd like the Mass said, and who you'd like the Mass offered for and whether they are living or deceased. Thanks.

MA CHENEY MITTENS 
Keep your hands warm this winter with a pair of homemade wool Ma Cheney mittens.  They are yours with a dontation to St. Paul's Endowment Fund. A $35 donation from students or $100 donation from all others will get you a pair.  Check them out online, click on endowment fund or stop by the office.

ARE YOU OPEN TO CONSIDER PRIESTHOOD OR RELIGIOUS LIFE?: IF YOU ANSWERED YES TO THESE QUESTIONS, THEN JOIN THE MELCHIZEDEK PROJECT!  Monday evenings from 8-9 pm in the Student Lounge here at the Newman Center.  Father Kurtis Gunwall, from the Vocation Office will lead this discussion group.  Stop by the office or call 701-540-8751 for imformation, to get your copy of the book, and to give us an idea of how many will participate.  "Do not be afraid"

SERRA CLUB LUNCHEONS 
are an opportunity to meet, visit, and pray with others who also want to work to support vocations in the area.  The luncheons include a delicious meal for a freewill offering, a short testimony from one of our clergy, a little information about Serra International, updates on our seminarians or religious vocations, and time for your questions.  This year we are meeting in the lower level of St. Mary's Cathedral.  The meetings are 12:00 to 1:00 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, so mark your calendar.  An RSVP is appreciated for planning but is not necessary if you can make it at the last minute.  Mark the following dates on your calendar and join us when you are able: February 14, March 13, April 10, and May 8.  Contact the Vocation Office (356-7957) or St. Mary's (235-4289) with any questions.
