Last week, Father William Sherman passed away at the age of 94. Father Sherman was the pastor of St. Paul's Newman Center from 1965 to 1975. He touched countless lives in his time here, and his contribution to the study of sociology, specifically the heritage of Germans from Russia, was vast. Due to generous alumni and friends coming forward, we have the privilege of naming a lounge in the new Newman Center in his honor. You can see a tribute we made for Father Sherman here: Join us in praying for the repose of the soul of this great friend, educator, researcher, and above all, beloved priest of Jesus Christ.
