We're overjoyed to share major news with you, Newman Center Surpasses $33 Million Goal!
Thanks to an additional donation of $1 million from NDSU alumnus Robert Franzen, I am humbled and grateful to God that St. Paul’s Newman Center at NDSU has surpassed our campaign goal of $33 million. To date, we have raised $33,214,645.
With this gift, Robert’s total support of the building project comes to $5 million. I could not be more grateful for his generous commitment to “get er done” and finish this campaign.
What a journey and blessing it has been to share this campaign with so many wonderful students and benefactors. When we started the road to build a new Newman Center, we started with nothing but a desire to serve Christ in the minds and hearts of our young adults.
There were a few people who told us the task was too big or unrealistic. However, there were many more of you who said it was needed, and your generosity has made all the difference.
Thank you to all our supporters for giving your best for the students and ultimately our Lord, Jesus Christ, and His work through bisonCatholic.
Construction continues on the facility, and there will be work ahead to sustain and grow our programs and ministry offerings. Nevertheless, I sit here today grateful. Grateful for each one of you who joined us to move Newman forward. All of us are forever grateful before God for your generosity.
I look forward to celebrating this achievement with all of you in the months ahead. Please stay tuned for further details to come.
This building will stand for the next 100 years or more in service to the students and tri-college community. Here we will continue to form future leaders for Christ and his Church.
