Sam's Team

Sam’s Team has been established to honor the memory of Samuel A. Traut who was brutally murdered on June 23, 2015 in his home by a stranger.  Sam’s Team establishes an annual scholarship and supports the bisonCatholic campus ministry program that had a profound impact on Sam. 

Every year the Newman Center will recognize two NDSU students whose service to the bisonCatholic community has been exemplary with the Samuel A. Traut Outstanding Leadership Award.  These two student awardees will also receive a $500 scholarship.
